The Bombardier Global 5000 is certified as part of the BD-700 Global family and shares operational lineage with the Global Express. Production began in the mid-2000s, with the aircraft remaining a strong long-range charter option due to its cabin size, performance, range and established global support network. It was later succeeded in Bombardier’s portfolio by the Global 5500.
