Bombardier Global 8000 Certification
The Bombardier Global 8000 was officially launched by Bombardier Aerospace at the EBACE 2022 (European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition) in May 2022. The first production-spec aircraft made its maiden flight on 16 May 2025. Certification from the main airworthiness authorities (FAA, EASA, Transport Canada) is still pending; the manufacturer currently targets late 2025 for entry into service. The aircraft is expected to officially enter service in the second half of 2025.
