Dassault Falcon 8X Certification
The Falcon 8X programme was announced by Dassault Aviation in May 2014. The aircraft completed its first flight on 6 February 2015 and progressed through an extensive test campaign leading to certification by the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) in June 2016, followed shortly by approval from the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The first aircraft was delivered in October 2016, marking the Falcon 8X’s official entry into service as Dassault’s ultra-long-range flagship at the time.
